Politics and post whoring-New additions READ AGAIN!
Our older members are real sick of coming on this car site and sifting thru all this crap...This is NOT the place for it,not even in off topic.. From now on there will be strict enforcement of this... Also ,if you don't have a real contribution(IE..."I have no idea") Please do not post...I do NOT wish to lose any more of the guys who actually know something from having done it before because of activities more suited to places like Myspace...I'd rather not envoke a daily post limit bit it might happen if that's what it takes...
I'd like to add a few points to this. If you have a problem with another member, their posts, or even a moderator, open forum is not the place to call them out. This is getting out of hand and nobody wants to read childish bickering. Whether it be here or anywhere that so many personalities converge, there are always going to be people you may not like or who may not like you. But we're going to deal with our differences like adults here, not like children fighting over a toy. You're welcome to PM me with any complaints about anything and we'll see what can be done to resolve them if need be. I don't want to hand out 'vacations' but I will if I have to. Consider this as having been warned.....
Not every post that is not strictly on topic is off topic either. We sometimes reply with a humorous quip or a good natured rib among friends. (At least that's what I like to think we are here) But I'm also aware that threads do stray way off sometimes and most of us are guilty of some of that now and again. When it's a technical or other serious discussion, I'll watch more closely for it and as I said before, you're welcome to notify me if you believe there's a problem. But there are other lighter discussions in their appropriate areas where you're just going to have to lighten up or not participate, your choice. We want this to be an enjoyable place for all and not have a long list of rigid rules. If everyone will try to treat each other with respect and some common courtesy, I think we can continue like that.
